I believe the strong presentation on tuesday helped the market to rally on these conclusions; as long as the president's case is feasible, which Ruff displayed, it will go in prez's favor at least to a partisan vote. However the facts, or lack thereof, may sway a few republicans to swim against the McCallum/Hyde/Barr tide and end it prematurely. That may spark a rally that could extend the top another week. If the internuts can continue dropping without inflicting damage to the more respectable stocks, another positive. Too many pollyannas making absurdly optimistic statements, however, to sustain much more upside. Such an imbalance of valuation should unwind on the downside (bring the SOX and MSH closer to reality) rather than the upside (re-valuing the financials and drugs to their highest levels). JMO Greg
