Walter - "If LU is gaining market share, who are they taking it from?"

Perhaps, they are not gaining market share. It maybe the whole telecom equipment sector is gaining at the same rate. This is not a zero sum game. On the other hand, LU is in product areas such as semi conductors and DSPs which other telecom equipment companies do not deal with. IMO, the analysts were thinking that Cisco would take market share from LU and NT. LUs earnings should make them rethink that estimate.

Perhaps, most likely, the European equipment makers.
