Annual Meeting went well

Can expect a short term sell-off on great expectations and sell on news. But expect it to be very short term - last years theme was e-com NOW , this year is 'hasn't even started'!!

>> the fall selloff across markets reminded me of how little the short term matters when you buy into a quality company.
I agree 100%. Any selling today will be people that don't understand what is e-com and what BCE Emergis is going to do. Their next goal is to be a Billion $ co.
Total mpact/emergis last quarter has a 2.5million loss. BCE Emergis now start on a calander year.

The message was really they have JUST BEGUN.
Also heard Bell has done a deal with Quest today ,already announced, in the US. This will open the US for BCE Emergis. Will look for this later- have to get to work. i will collect my thoughts and post tonight .

Richard hope you find this site.
I just notified the webmaster name mispelled

Meeting today went well, got the impression these guys were streached or busy getting new business. Very little on past achievements except for Newstar was mentioned a few times.
lattest buzz word is 'Network-centric'. they focus more than just EDI and e-bill(like my prior postings) they are keeping all their options open. 6 verticle markets:finance,Mortgage, Sports,Auto, Merchant enabling, BCE family
Tobin expanded on Network-centric. Edwards as usual did a good speil.

US listing was mentioned but seems is not on the immediate agenda.

Understand Bell did a deal today with Quest/MCI(?) opening the door to US for Emergis for now. 50$ million from bell for acquisition (US) purposes. BCE really want or expect great things from Emergis.
It was expected to be a small sell off today- sell on news after great expectations, but should be short lived.
They reiterated that they have only started.

One chart shown was : % increase in share price with top 10 e-com Co's from Yahoo at 650% to Dell at 189%, Mpact the only CDN mid span at 275%.
