Dan is completely comfortable with silence and with himself. When he speaks, entire rooms go quiet, like EF Hutton. I think that's why he married me. He never has to talk at parties or to people he doesn't like; he knows I'll do it whether I want to or not. Whether they want me to or not. SOmetimes I'll be talking away to him in bed and he snores. But the weirdest thing is--when I accuse him, he can ALWAYS remember what I said, even if he was asleep. I hate that. Sometimes he tells me what I said, and I don't remember it. He's a better listener than I am to me.
