In MSPG 90, trying to chase those. NTBK ..JVLN.. JVLN.. came out on Dec 21 on newsletter the stock then at 13.. was on a strong uptrend at by the 11th of January it was at 16.250.. SInce the 11th it was a laggard but the reason the newsletter comes out a week to two in advance of the earnings is you let you know a) this is a stock to watch since it has passed the stringent criteria to become an earnings play b) you have a least a span one week to play it before earnings. I played JVLN at that time. Holding through or close to earnings works for some of these but can't possibly work for all of them. GNET was a good anticipatory upswing triggering at least 3 buy signals, VRTS,SEG, and others worked through earnings but these stocks should played and finished BEFORE earnings come out or picked up after earnings come out, but holding through earnings will always be risky. NTBK.. sorry didn't get back to now that NTBK is 37.. so yes.. I think it will continue coming back. but I'll wait I had a good run on that one already.
