Mike, and labor expected Bill Clinton to be friendly to them. Bill Clinton's allegiance is to Wall St and his dream of an ever growing welfare state. I wonder how the left-wing rags will cover the trade deficit story probably not the same way as when Regan was president. The idea of economic development for local politicians in CT is to build shopping malls at the site of former mills, foundries, and factories. Way too many lawyers in politics we need some business persons in politics. To use Jessie Jackson's phrase there is going to be economic violence. Mike
