Just updated the 3Dfx chart on coolhistory.com

We are now bouncing between 12 and 14 (Good call yesterday Chip!) and are right at the 50-day Simple MA. The 200-day MA is now below the resistance level at 16 meaning that the next big milestones are now:

1.) Resistance at 14
2.) Resistance from the 200-day MA
3.) Resistance at 16

Also the 50-day MA (which hasn't provided much support recently) has just started moving lower.

So, technically, IMO things aren't too promising in the short term. Expect a retest of 12 soon (tomorrow?).

November PC Data sales for video cards:

PC Data Hits List of Top-Selling Hardware
Video Cards for November 1998

Title Manufacturer Average Price
Xpert 98 PCI 8MB SGRAM 16X12 ATI Technologies $75
Monster 3D II 12MB w/Gaming Bundle Diamond Multimedia Systems $194
Black Magic Voodoo2 2D/3D 12MB PCI STB Systems $152
3D Blaster Banshee 128Bit 16MB Creative Labs $128
Monster Fusion 3D 16MB PCI Diamond Multimedia Systems $148

QED, je ponce.

Also, PC Accelerator (the most sexist game mag) has a review/test of the V3.
They give it a big thumbs up and totally buy into the speed over 32 bit
rendering theory. Lots of nice excuses about beta drivers and
generally very positive. No crashes! They reported the price to be
$150 - 200 but say closer to $150.
