667 MHZ equals a clock period of 1.66 Nanoseconds

Thats a processor heart beat every .000,000,00166 Seconds.

Now Christy's Auction house is setting up an Internet
facillity for $25 Million. So to be an internut stock all
you need is money.

But what do you think it takes to develop technology to keep
up with Intel. My guess is $25 Million might be enough to realize
that you need a hundred times that much just to bring a product to market .. RMBS like MSFT in my Dreams MileHigh???

May be I'm not dreaming after all..

Pushing the envelope ...RMBS

unclewest, >>>
Washington, Jan. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Intel Corp. will be able to ship
600-megahertz microprocessors in the third quarter of this year...<<<

This is right on Intel's roadmap, the 1999 segment of which has been set for quite a while. In fact, it's right on with Moore's law, which has been around for a couple of decades. (Actually Intel has said that law might be accelerating, to 2X density, and speed every two years now vs. 2 1/2). The author makes 0.18 sound like it's a breakthrough. Still, only Intel (and IBM) can be counted on to roll out things like these geometry improvements without a hitch. Cookie cutting vs. a kielbasa sandwich at bedtime induced nightmare for those other companies mentioned.
