Glad I don't grow soy beans in Argentina or USA. Sugar, Coffee, etc. The devalued currency will cause great political problems in USA since farmers are going to be REALLY pissed. Soy beans just found a supplier 30% cheaper than USA farmers and Brazilian farmers are just as good at farming as anyone else. This will end up to be a VERY big deal in USA as farmers are very organized. Think steel from Japan is bad!!!!

Farmers are going to grow tons of extra corn in 1999 instead of beans. I am going to go short December corn and look for a 30 or 40 cent drop. Carryover is already very high.
