Rosemary:<everything in dell> ggg btw when I was in Cambodia and Thailand, I heard alot of talk about Shanghi (sp) becoming some kind of an exciting trading center. I don't have the articles handy, but the government of China seemed determined to spend tons of money on infrastructure, without having done any kind of western type market study. Do I have the right city? I have always wanted to spend time both where you and your husband are, but also, to know whether trader/investor types were flocking to Shanghi. Can you refer me to a resource on this? Frankly, I always thought the Chineese govt was extremely clever regarding this expenditure of billions of dollars. The talk also was that the restaurants would be absolute killers, plus all kinds of other toys, to draw persons from all over the world. Thanks for your info. Do the two of you take "side trips"? Thanks.
