the economy is directly tied to the stock mkt as it never has been before. the stock mkt is tied to the economy. the stock mkt (as it always does) will break before the economy from pure exhaustion. The the debt debacle that has been brewing in this country and elsewhere will come home to roost in a big way. The result will be a world-wide recession (some places will graduate to a depression). That's how I think it will play out. so far... so good.
