Anyone want to give any insight into TSE 300 listings. I have watched a couple go through nice run-ups just before and after their TSE 300 listing. However I don't feel that I have watched enough stocks go through the transition to know if this is a general trend. With TSE 300 listing you will definitely get index fund buying and a little better exposure. I believe investors also see TSE 300 stocks a slightly safer (although this has not been the current trend). There are several stocks being added on Feb 19 so lets put are 500 years+ combined knowledge together. TORONTO, Jan. 12 /CNW/ - The Toronto Stock Exchange in conjunction with the Index Committee, has completed its annual revision analysis for the TSE 300 Composite Index and announces the following changes to be effective at the market open on Friday, February 19, 1999.
