>>I'm sure someone with level II can see the same thing I am. I don't have level II, but I watch the largest bid and ask sizes as they are flashed (they only have to put them up for a few seconds to display intent) and track the flow. I have photogenic memory though, so it only take a few looks on and off to get the feel for it.<<

Hmm yea, But what I was talking about was the display when you have an account with instinet. You can show the book on how much you want to buy or sell. Which is not the same as the L2 screen where they show the public what they think will fool the most. You dont know who is selling but you see that at a certain price there will be huge blad fat guy sitting with a large number of shares. Very similar to the Island book, I know they had that for a few days before they decided it was too much for the traders to know.

Does that somehow relate to neural net modeling ? ;-)

Last:

I am way behind in reading messages; as you can see I am responding to one from two weeks ago. I will catch up in the next few days. Couldn't help but laugh at this quote though:

"I have photogenic memory though, so it only take a few looks on and off to get the feel for it."

Not only did you actually post the picture of us proving to Lisa that you look more like a surfer hunk than I do, but now you are also claiming to have a photogenic memory. Are you telling us that even your brain looks good??!! I don't think we want to see a photo of this.
