I have to agree. CNBC loves to call this an internet craze - as if this is some passing fad that will go away...right. I hope we're hitting a support level around here. -ac

sgh, this is a bit of a bubble
although i disagree with barton biggs for two reasons:
1. he compared this to the gold bubble of the 70's
that was based soley on speculation--it was not a new industry
2. he compared it with biotech
that is also inaccurate as biotech was in its infancy and there were NO COMPANIES WITH EARNINGS at that time

this is a bit of wild speculation, but we are creating an industry that will take its place alongside the telephone and television as mainstays of world culture.

i liken it more to the rallies in the early days of the automobile,
telephone, television, etc.

anyway, i went to 10-15% cash at the top and am looking for bargains. i am sure that 1/2 of that money will go back into the internet!!!!
