what I posted was:

"and if others start exiting those positions, the net stockswill take a sector wide hit."

the 'and if others start exiting those positions' part was the important phrase.

Besides, YHOO and AMZN are only down less than 9%, and EBAY is down just 11.5%.

Sector wide, Telecoms are down3.3%, Software & Programming down 1.6%, Semi's down 2.7% and all theother tech sectors aredown less than those - in fact Computer hardware is actually up a fraction of a %. I don't think there is any tanking going on just yet, since the broader markets in all sectors atre down about the same. that implies market sentiment is cautionary, not panic selling. If they were down 5-8%, then we shoud be really worried.

My question to you was if you felt there was going to be a rebound from this level before weekend.

We all look at different indicators, threads, etc. I'd like your opinion on this.
