I worry when I see strange trading like this. Even this last rally for the last 15 minutes sellers sat on 100.. wonder if its shorts?

Ahh. That's more like it. Some reality checking going on in the market. For a minute there I was starting to get worried by the continual rise. Now I can relax, and enjoy the correction, because its depth will tell me how solid this stock is at these prices for the longer term.

Bye for now.

I think you can forget about the possibility of a poor report. Most of the good news is in the price, so it may still sell-off after the report but the report will be good. My reason are as follows.

The Morgan Stanley analyst (Thomas Kraemer) had dinner with the CFO sometime in the last week of December. He upped his price target to 130+ early this year (when SUN was in high 80s) on the day the NAS had tanked by 100+ points following Brazil devaluation. Now I know many analysts are stupid and have pretty bad timing, but Kraemer has been pretty good with respect to hardware makers, so I trust his judgement on SUN.

Dear Paul: There is concern that because of switching to a new accounting system the computer will not be able to keep up and thus shipments will not go out the door in time to be recorded for qtr end. In my opinion, if that happens its a buying opportunity. If they are manufacturing at maximum capacity etc etc and just because of some damn accounting problem they cant record it all, it will just get picked up next qtr and that will be the blowout qtr.
