Well Flip, I think JAWZ could have written the first paragraph as follows:

JAWS Technologies Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: JAWZ), the only 4096 bit encryption solution provider in the world, today announced the introduction of the JAWS Security Snapshot, an innovative service of the current JAWS IT Security Practice. The JAWS IT Security Practice provides information risk management strategies to ensure secure business practices.

By the way, well written response. I also got a big smile.

The other thing about that news release and one other one like it recently, it that it reads like an advertisement. There is a difference between advertisement and news. All that stuff about our studies show that..... belongs in an advertisement. The first two paragraphs were news. The rest belonged in an information technology magazine or maybe on a big page in the Wall Street Journal or the Barrons.

Let's say I am a Director of Information Services for my company. Do you think I am sifting through the penny stock news trying to figure out where I am going to find the solutions to my security issues. Hell NO! Now, if I am relaxing during my break and stumble upon an ad about JAWS Snapshots while I'm reading my magazine or newspaper then I just might make a note to look into that later.

The reason I got pissed about the ad... I mean news release is because the only people who are going to read JAWZ's news releases are its current shareholders or people who are trying to find a penny stock in which to invest. And in my opinion that ad would mislead more investors than it would bring in business. In fact, I doubt that it will generate business. The tactic is below what I thought the quality of the product required.
