<<The US is the only industrialized nation that doesn't have a healthcare system.

Yeah and most of them are trying to figure out how to unwind them before they bankrupt their countries.

<<I think most political scientists generally note a great deal of difference between a Marxist and socialist.

Not that big a difference on the issue of public ownership of the means of production, which is what the ss stock investment plan would be laying the groundwork for.

<<How do you explain Clinton's generally centrist moves which many describe as co-opting of Republican positions.

Clinton governs by polls. He embraces anyone's position the polls tell him are popular. supports whatever left wing extreme causes the sheeple are too stupid to figure out. How many times did he veto welfare reform before he "co-opted" the repub position?

Clinton (mr. and mrs.) have long standing, well documented ties to extreme leftist leaning gov'ts and organizations.

His strong "lead" on NAFTA is true to his "one world governemnt" philosophy which is coming dangerously close to linking us economically with the politically bankrupt third world developing countries, and will probably do us (especially labor unions) more harm than good.
