I would love to 'SAMPLE' all of the varieties of fish that are mentioned on this thread. Naturally it would be fun 'being there and catching 'em'...but, it would also be fun just to do a little sampling...does anyone have a good mail order source for the varieties that can be shipped?

what year did you do Kiribati (Christmas Island)?
I did it for two weeks in I think 1987
just wondering if it is still as good as it was back then

averaged maybe 20+ bones each day, most 2-5 pounds but enough 5-8's to make it a blast, and more trevaly than my old arms could handle

plus a bunch of white tipped reef sharks in the thin water; little 4-5 foot racers, fun to play on 20 pound spinning gear

is Moana still there?
