Tonight on Business Center on CNBC (I don't know the time) they just announced that Scott McNealy will be on to discuss how SUNW will be connecting appliances etc. together. Should be interesting.

dear john. i can argue w. your numbers i will just go w. my gut feelings..
Do you see all these analysts are bullish? well they are all wrong. they
should be even more bullish w. their numbers but they listen to "the
company's guidence" ! Natually msft needs to be beat numbers so they
have to talk down. In the end all works out.
we should be so lucky if we go down to 120ish but i doubt.

. PaineWebber raised FY99 EPS estimate from $2.37 to $2.56 and FY2000
estimate to $3.13 from $2.90. They also raised their 12-month price
target to $200, based on 70 times its CY99 EPS. They believe that MSFT
could support a P/E less than 2 times its growth rate. They expect MSFT
to continue to benefit from robust PC sales in 1999 due to low channel
inventory. End-user PC demand is expected to grow at 17%, which should
drive shipments up 22% and PaineWebber believes that MSFT's March and
June quarters are likely to be even better. Salomon Smith Barney is also
bullish on the stock with a 12-month price target of $200. They also
raised their 1999 and 2000 earnings estimate.
