"I think a few arb guys jumped out of windows on that one. " Yes, I was wishing I had the concrete umbrella concession on Wall Street that day. The unwinding of that deal was one of my best weeks last year, and the day it came off was my best day of 1998. The fact that I had seriously considered putting the arb on for 5 or 6 points and decided against it only added to the excellence of the day. It sure looks like free money from this side of the deal, but I think it's a fool's game to limit your upside while taking on serious downside risk. Barb
