It's the modern day battle of the lilliput. Unresolveable, senseless to apply a politic in most cases, but easily manages to polarize the country on two sides.

The left loves to bring up the woman's health issue and some extreme example of a woman who would be denied, by a right wing political view. Yet, all of these fem proponents know that 99% of their friends (1.4 million a year) getting abortions are doing so as a convenience for the party girl life style.

The right sermonizers love to bring up the right to live issue and the favorite extreme example is Partial Birth Abortions. Yet the majority of the abortions are done at a period of gestation where 99% of the right wing sermonizers can't define and authenticate a point in time where a human soul exists in the fleshly fetus.

Sharpen your sabor, this one is a blood bath. No intelligent creature would open their egg on the big side. Every thing spills out. Destroy em all.

Well there were always religious fundamentalists but they didnt take over the republican party until 92 or thereabouts I think. The 92 republican convention was the catalyst as I recall... a lot of real estate dedicated to the far right and Christian Coalition.

I just remember travelling with the chair of a group called "Republicans for Choice" (apparently a fair sized organization, although Ive never heard of them) - anyway she was outraged with that 92 convention. I wonder when she switch to being a democrat.
