JINI-SUNW / JENE-INSGY, Interesting questions, I sent some e-mail to see if I can some answers. As I am understanding and reading between the lines, INSGY will provide the hardware side as JENE and SUNW will provide the software side as JINI?? Many questions to be answered and they may not be ready to let some information out. It sounds alot like the LONWORKS specification that is being adopted in HVAC applications. If you find anything more to clarify this I would be interested.

For your sake keep the bottom line simple!
Every time a Sun embedded system developer sits down to
work he must have JENE (insgy) present on his machine!!
Hope that helps!
