Yogi, To further the sense of absolute weirdness that confounds we should talk about OnSale's plan to sell computers at cost. zdii.com The idea, as I understand it after a cursory read, is that they will attract enough traffic to make beauxcoup bucks on advertising dollars. Now is this an imploding business model or am I missing something? If the products get sold at cost, who the hell is going to be around to advertise? Or are they simply eliminating the middleman? If so then how about all those people that work at enterprises that operate between the manufacturer and the end user? They lose jobs, quit spending, etc. By the way, people who write the advertising are part of that group aren't they? Move over buddy and pour me a scotch and maalox, with a twist please. Best, Stitch
