freeus, TBH, I have now become way less courageous about margin that can be called (as opposed to implied margin in option accounts which may not be called). I respectfully disagree that margining DELL (or CSCO, which I was also holding) is 100% safe. Even these stocks sometimes fall 40-50%. Germany, France and England are all down about 2.5% at 6:45 AM EST. Another hard day ahead. Guess I should concentrate on identifying the theme in Mozarts's 40th Symphony (assignment from my music class) and pay less attention to the volatile session that I suspect will follow. -Apratim.
