unclewest...IPO's I know what you're saying..my big concern is that we not get too deep into some of these "announced but not filed" plays.. the managements of these companies aren't stupid..they see what's been happening..so all they have to do is put out a couple of PR's to the effect that they are 'looking at a possible ipo' or something to that effect.. figuring on a rally that they sell into... I've decided to wait and only play after an actual filing can be verified with the SEC.. i'll leave $$ on the table but the plays will be surer at that point..of all the stocks in our watch portfolio TNO is the only one to actually file anything.. Doesn't mean don't day trade them..FWIW Jim in CT..
