OK==ART, HERE GOES
Your purchase of 20,000 shares would have no affect
on the trading unless it was the last 20,000 being offered.
and if the asked did go to 11/16,you still would be ahead
of the game.As far as institutional buys,I believe they have
been active buyers along with Emerson in the last couple of
months. There has been many big block trades during that
time.I believe I posted buys by institutions a few posts ago,
but her are the figures again.Prior to last reporting quarter,
there were approx.10% buys compared to 90% sells, and the
most recent qtr.that changed to approx 50--50,and that is one
of the reasons I say they are probably getting back in the
ballgame.I'll post up to date figures when I receive them.
As for talking you out of buying more,I think the decision
to buy or sell should be yours and yours alone. As opposed
to 30 or so years ago, {when I started} when the brokers were
the only recourse available, today we have a world of information
at our disposal, with all the online services we can access.Do
your DD and most of the time you will come out on top.
I personally set myself a goal for purchases and do not
stray from it.I never try to break the bank {so to speak] .
Dicipline, for me is a big part of the game and is very useful
in the investment arena. It allows one to stay in the game and not
have to drop out because he or she bit off more than they can chew.
I wish you and all {of course,me also} great success with
Emerson, and any other stock we all decide to purchase.

ART--PART TWO
I'm sorry. I may have misunderstood the question
you asked,so here is the other side of the coin.Could
be that someone that was asking 5/8 changed their
mind and instructed their broker to sell at the lower price,
or it could have been a private sale that doesn't have to go
through the normal channels.
Now both sides of the coin are covered. My brain just
woke up.
Hope your question got answered.
