I am going to have to do the same. I bought in at 39 and 41. I cannot get this out of my mind and I KNEW that TLAB was a great long term buy. When will I stop kicking myself!?!?!

To all- A real poor tech.,telecom.,net stock day, with Naz down about $70.
Tellab's held real good at $84. I feel that a solid 4th 1/4 earnings report (ie. beat the street by 2-5 cents) is coming out 1/25 with a interesting c.c. after 6 pm. 1/25/99 (1-800-633-8284 ,mention 11536888 )
As per usual practice, I will listen to interesting 1-1 1/2 hour call twice (old CFO back on board) and give a two page summary to this board. I look for guidance to be $2.45+ net/share in '99(up 34% from $1.82/share in 1998) and some more fleshing out of information on new products, including fiber-optic types of products, which were the main worry after Ciena fiasco.(that and Ciena's poor earnings)
As a side bet,I'd say we are due for a stock split (2 for 1 ) within the next 3 months. I still look for net earnings( and stock price within the ranges of historical PE's (18-44) ), to grow solidly from 30-40% each of the next 2-3 years. This beats a CD and is more dependable than wild no earnings net stocks.
Wild card is 5% chance of a merger, eat or be eaten. Any merger usually pays a premium, look at 62% jump in Exite's price after it's takeover by AT&T via Athome.
Good Hunting
