Bearded One,

That's also not good. I'm trying hard to find the good news in this release. I think the street was expecting an upside surprise. Not sure if the +.02 above consensus is enough considering the revenue decrease over last year and the 1st quarter no profit statement.

So, what do people think of a 10% drop in body odor?

BO -

Perhaps a bit disappointing, but I think that considering the quarter over quarter improvement, it's not too bad. Especially in light of the fact that 2 major new products shipped late in the quarter. For "mature" product lines, this is not so bad. I mean, who was it who said over a year ago that everyone who was ever going to buy a Zip drive already had one?

The big positives are the improved gross and net margins.

I'm just hoping that the guidance with respect to the first quarter is just Glore's way of managing expectations, in the manner of Intel and Microsoft. I guess a lot depends upon the tone of the conference call, as usual.

Also, I think it was 8%.

Lower dollar revenues are a result of the new more profitable product mix...

Unit sales have doubled... Inventory turn has increased 33%... Gross margins are up... IOM can't even keep up with the new 250 meg zip drive demand... After things are squared away in the first Qtr IOM should move on to a higher level of unit and dollar sales... With an installed base of over 21 million drives and growing, the disk sales prospects look better and better...
