HK stocks close down sharply on bank, Brazil woes...''People are raising the nasty, ugly head of China renminbi devaluation,'' said Charles Crofton-Atkins, sales trader at South China Securities.

biz.yahoo.com

This could set off another ugly wave.

...Joey B is on CNN Biz Morning in a minute...and I have to run and see what he says...And I'm serious...I don't know if Bill Meehan was...but I am...

OK Here's what Joe said:

1. The emerging market crisis in South America and China is a sideshow and is over.
2. China should devalue and that would be good.
3. The US and Europe have very strong economies now.
4. He can't be worried about internet companies valuations. They could drop a further 50 to 75% without affecting the overall market at all.
5. If the economy was strong (which he says it is) and inflation is low (which he says it is) and earnings are improving (which he says they are)...then he would be a buyer.
