Good for you. The last series of tests, on "existing technology", showed that the current system in development can't be relied on to intercept a missile. Or maybe it just can't, period, I think it's failed every test. This is under ideal test conditions, one incoming missile on a known tragetory, not a realistic wartime scenario. Like estimates of Soviet military strength, the effectiveness of "existing technology" was always greatly exaggerated. The Livermore Labs guys said their X-ray laser was just a matter of engineering too.
