Opinions Please on Quote Delivery Services and Brokers If I may join this forum--- I have traded for 9 years full time(home) and have used Data Broadcasting's Real Time Quote Signal service- -cable delivery-to PC-and Brown and Company(brokerage--$5/trade up to 5000 shares). My problem is this--I need a broker that will give me virtually instantaneous confirmations. I find that Brown and Waterhouse ( my other broker), through their internet trading accounts take too long to get a confirmation back on-line---especially from 9:30 to 10:30 am, when their systems must be running slow. I certainly recognize that for $5 per trade one can hardly expect an instantaneous confirmation, so I would like to explore some alternatives. I might add that I like the cable delivery of real time quotes because I don't have to worry about internet bottlenecks with traffic or provider failure.It has been extremely reliable. Any thoughts or personal experience would be appreciated. I am located in Bethlehem, Pa. Thanks.
