jake: Re: "The bottom line is that hdie will sell and maintain more product and the bottom line will be significantly increased due to the relationship with IBM"

No doubt about it. HDIE will benefit from the news. Already has.

My emphasis on this wording situation is because it will affect the extent to which HDIE will benefit, thus affecting the valuation of the stock. I'm not bashing HDIE at all, and apologize if it sounds that way.

The question regarding the term length of the NEON deal has been brought up before, but nobody has been able to answer that. Or, at least they haven't posted it.

Regards,

TED

Jake, good points...but,

I suggest that those interested in endless debating should start by discussing "how many angels can dance on the head of a pin" first and then move up to the exciting topic "Will the real definition of the word *is*, please stand up". When and only when these topics have been so worn out and everyone on the thread has been beaten down into submission and screaming for mercy, will we offer up the next gem for the HDIE thread debating team to tackle.

I have never been opposed to (in reasonable and appropriate doses), and honestly welcome different view points, opinions, or issues to discuss and debate. But, what now goes on here is anything but constructive helpful or worthwhile. It would be naive to not assume that those here are investors in this stock (no different then those in the stands at a football game are probably supporters of the teams on the field)...so it shouldn't shock anyone to get a negative reaction when you boo someone else's team endlessly, but the real rub is to boo them when they have just scored or are winning...

This "Congratulations on your new baby...now let me tell you how really ugly it is" mentality certainly doesn't make for a lot of bonding...which if that isn't bad enough, then comes the let me beat this to death, because I want everyone to agree with me. The counter argument of the "hypsters" do it more then we do, doesn't hold water...you can never say your baby is too beautiful to many times!

So what is reasonable, each of us will have to make that decision all on our own...I know that there are certain posters that I have stopped reading on any regular basis, not because I don't wish to hear opposing view points, but because they usually have baseless arguments and have lost credibility with me. As I'm sure that there are those that don't read my posts for the same reasons...it's just the way it is.
