Claude, ARP must have decided that they can fend the Barricuda off.

It seems they are planning on making the bait increasingly attractive to the circling predator, until it can't wait any longer to strike. And strike it will.

Barrick may have misjudged either ARP management or shareholder anxiety for closure. I figure they're sharping their pencils at this very minute.
