Briefing.com says the IPO will have a +$1.50 effect on TNO stock price and the stock has already risen $2.57 since the IPO was filed. Don't know about that one.

Moby.

Don't discount market psychology. Volume was 500,000+, 2 1/2 times normal, and up 2 1/2 on and 70+ point down day. Sam, would like to see what TNO does on a positive day in the market.

Sam, I remember back in November when DBCC price was 8-9 and MKTW IPO was first being discussed ... the possible effect based on shares, percentages, etc. that MKTW would have on it was thought to move DBCC to 13-15 ... 17-19 if MKTW mania kicked in. Well that estimate was about 30 points too low! Not saying that same will happen with TNO, it definitely won't being on NYSE and the extra float. Just pointing out that lately the common wisdom on IPO price effect on the parent has usually been way too low.

Cheers

Mike
