An observation:

I think instead of "Beat estimates by 2 cents" they should say "Beat estimates by 40 %", which conveys the performance more accurately. Otherwise 2 cents does not sound that good. Microsoft beat estimates by a whopping 14 cents, but IOM beat estimates by a wider margin.

The way the market is, who knows. If the whole market takes a dump tomorrow, you may be right. On the other hand, if there is some major rally, up we go. It's actually pretty comical and anyone that thinks they have it figured out, good luck!

Glore alluded to the fact that there will be news out in the nextx 30 days or so. Why do you think the big guys have been buying as recently as yesterday??? The big guys won't sell, little guys might. BUT more big guys will probably buy!! This is what the street has been waiting to hear! Profit, profit, profit. Anyone who sells first thing in the a.m. will be sorry by the end of next week. IMO

Trufflette, Allen Murdock and anyone else interested.

It sounded to me as though the first quarter was expected to have some tough sleding; but after that year would be pretty good. As I understood it, a positive earning for the year was anticipated, this would certainly be a contrast to 1998. I also sounded to me as though some things may be in the mill, which, if announced would have a positive effect on the first quarter. What is your analysis about the fact that there were few questions. Ordinarily there are many questions. Does this indicate some lack of interest, or disbelief in what was said?

Has anyone considered that there are still just under 30MM shares short that still have to be bought back and considering IOM is definitely in a turn around phase, they beat EPS estimates by 40%, they are coming out with new products and have little to no competition that these people who are short may wish to buy their shares back pretty darn quick? It sounds to me like IOM already has built in price support established.
