WARNING: potentially OT
No, MADE money on TBR last year, sold in the low 80's and have just a few shares left. I just couldn't take the daily Brazilian drama, which FAR surpasses any daytime soap opera. I still follow the quite excellent TBR/TBH thread since I continue to be worried about what a Brazil meltdown could do to other economies and stocks. If the Brazil boat rocks too much, the wake could rock other boats, maybe sink some, and the price of gold may be affected. That's one mainstream theory anyway; I'm not sure that the Brazil-other economies interconnectedness is really that strong, and even if it is, I'm not sure the price of gold would respond to an enhanced threat of economic chaos like it used to years ago. I do enjoy reading and thinking about both issues, but have no real conclusions yet. Maybe you have thoughts or comments on how a Brazil meltdown would affect other economies, and whether the gold Bema has in the ground would thereby attain a higher valuation? Seriously, I'd like to know.
