Here the backdrop:

We just had the biggest bullish sentiment readings in the II survey since August 1987.

The leading market sector has it's back broken and the Nasdaq is in the process of making a V reversal top.

Asia is recovering, so scared foreign capitol has somewhere to go and liquidity is drying up as shown in the diverging summation index (lower low, while higher high in the spx)

CBOE put/call ratios bottomed at an extremely bearish reading I believe on the day the Dow bull-trapped above the neckline 1/8 and have now turned. This means there are less bulls than two weeks ago and more bear sellers.
