<ot>Keith,
Once again you make assumptions and broad-ranging statements without even pretending that you have the knowledge to back up what you are spouting.

<There is lots of disagreement on your points from lots of politically well-educated individuals.>

Give me one politically-educated person who truly disagrees with what I have written.

<No, everyone does not necessarily benefit.>

I never said and never implied that everyone necessarily benefits. I said that GENERALLY everyone benefits from tax cuts; a considerable difference since you spend time pointing out the rare occurrences when not everyone benefits. Why don't you respond to my points rather than making up points and responding to those?

<And I'd bet that 4 out of the top 5 (maybe all 5) political contributors *also* gave to the Republican Party.>

Again, you spout things about which you do not know but only surmise. The #1 contributor gives to both Democrats and Republicans.
You are right so far. The next 4 all give to Democrats only.

By the way, the rich are populated fairly evenly between the 2 parties
(Buffett is a Democrat, for example).

From your posts, I sense that your points stem from 'common wisdom' which is almost always inaccurate and unreliable.

I would recommend tempering what you accept as true with some real political research.
