gary,

Might want to check ATHM's web site for pricing. Cable access is competitive and very desirable. IMHO XCIT+ATHM+TCI+AT&T= WINNING COMBO.

The stock price will rebound with a good market,

Grant

>>Last year, Sept. 98 Worth magazine had an article on Malone talking about the ATT TCI deal. It mentioned that cable companies are not allowed to control no more than one-third of the country.

Wouldn't the above be a cap on the future growth of ATHM? While ADSL is already starting to be pushed by every RBOC around the country.<<

ATHM is owned by a number of different cable companies, between them, they have access to about 50% of the cable televisions in the US and Canada.

ATHM is not a cable operator, and does not "control" cable operations. It is a service that can expand within its existing agreements,or when the cable companies do, or sign new agreements to expand.

regards
