Unfortunately, not much "old" either. I learned one thing. If I had taken my own advice in 1983 (with $10k investment in CPQ), I'd be a millionaire-plus now. Instead, I bought a lugable at about half that price.

Oh, well....

EP started on the enterprise subject and appeared to be warming up to it. Did you notice how he had to stop and regroup his thoughts when SG jerked him back to PCs? NBR had done some research and had film clips, and script ready to go the PC route. Somehow, he has to get the message across in plain English what Compaq is doing. The public does not understand what enterprise computing is all about. NBR left the general investing public with the image of Compaq being a huge box maker except for those who listened very carefully.

I did like the $10,000 invested then being worth a million today.
