agree totally with you and as one canadian buying into the diamonds and usually getting hammered as soon as i load up. the potential of the diamond industry compared to gold mining is almost geometric in a profit scale and yes this should be blasted to the cdn public. until the funds get at all interested i do not see much happening here especially with the juniors. i currently hold enough of mgj, aot and lay to be very concerned about this. hey, i know lay is in S. africa but why can't cdns' buy there?
by the way, i am on pins and needles re snowy owl and my prediction weeks ago was 10 macros and will stay with that. if it is, we should get beaucoup movement!

Short Position from the Financial Post:
Major General Resources had 75,000 short on 1/15/99 compared to 6,000 12/31/98. With an average daily volume of 40,000 shares, this is quite a jump for them. I believe Kaiser put out a buy recommendation in that period on MGJ.

Paul: Great work on your commentary. More of us need to contact the press and ask that the story be told.
