Not that any of us invest based on past performance only... but if you take a look at the 100 day chart, it sure looks like a straight line fit indicates a price of ~140 within a couple weeks. Exactly one month ago (after earnings season), this stock dropped ~25%, hung there for 1 week and then started its tear back up. About 4 weeks after it's top, it was back to its previous record. YHOO chart looks the same.

Pat,

Why have earnings estimates come down so sharply lately? I pulled up first call and the 7 days ago and 30 days ago estimates were significantly higher.

I was thinking on purchasing here. General Instruments and Scientific Atlanta both posted great results, why not BRCM? But you see how Edlestone called RMBS- they warned after his call. Any thoughts BRCM doing the same?
