Don't think there are any steam engine manufacturing companies any more(the dirt poor countires that use em just keep revamping them). I think there's one in Chatanooga Tenessee as well... And you are right. A long term investment in Steam engine, CD, money market account etc. is a lot better than a long term investment in these nutty stocks @ this level...
