Saw only yesterday. The most common first name for a male in Texas is...? Jose. Better watch-out though. The Chinese may be turning the tide for their ancestral cousins. The ones who crossed the land bridge way back when. The number of Chinese crossing the border each year from Canada into the U.S. is estimated at 300,000. By the year 2005, and if China's economy only remains in it's current condition, the cross-border influx is predicted to reach 500,000 per year. The Mohawks in New York have been smuggling illegal Chinese immigrants across the border for some time now. They ferry them across the St. Lawrence, put them up on the reservation, then assist with transportation to Chinatown in New York city. So, you see, I figure that eventually the Chinese will boot us all out and share the place with what's left of the original inhabitants.
