Uncle Frank,

DELL, I belive, is down to 82-83 in Germany. Anyway, I usually do not look at TA indicators like relative strength. But I have been feeling very good about DELL for a while mostly because of the general strength in the higher margin NT workstation biz and DELL's press releases claiming upward mobility in this area. I will analyze IBM's quarterly results this weekend to see how they fared in this area. I have been told by a friend who has already analyzed it that they showed flat-to-slightly-better results (I haven't confirmed that yet) which if true will further strengthen my bullishness about DELL. But still waiting for CPQ results. In the relatively lower end, as Drew (or is it Mohan) put it, if GTW (another INTC-only shop, I believe) can beat estimates so can DELL. I was really worried in this area as IBM is selling AMD-based 333 MHz boxes with reasonable amounts of memory for $699 which, personally speaking, I would have no problems buying (and in fact have been recommending to friends). Also, I need to analyze GTW and IBM's laptop businesses this weekend.
