I was in MIDL and lost some money in it. However, MIDL was a scam in which a couple of guys claimed to have patent rights to a new synthetic fuel that would boost miles per gallon something like 50% by providing 200+ octane. Turned out the guys had rights to nothing and were full of BS. and CEO's took $$ and ran to Bahamas. AAFG on the other hand has working stores all over the country (there is a Sammy's NY Bagel here in White Plains, NY that does very well) so it is not some BS scam. The current slump has more to do with the status of the entire bagel industry than scam. AAFG has consolidated their manufacturing in New Jersey and as they said the Bankruptsy reorganization would not effect production of supplies (proprietary bagel formula) for stores. Over the last year they have done much to reduce expenses and seek opportunity and new ways to create income. The question at this point is what willl a judge decide that shareholders are entitled to after the bankruptsy.
