SHGLaw and Jetter: I for one will miss the brilliant thoughts (or at least the witticisms) from the two of you. I have been listening in for quite awhile, and have enjoyed the "dialog" between you. As a newbie at SI (just registered), I've felt in the past several weeks that I could learn more by observing. But it's clear you should know that people do benefit from what you write (when it's genuinely thoughtful), so here's a good time for me to step in.

Actually, I may be a very good mediator here, because I have been both long (got in at 12 1/2 and 18 3/16, out at 30) and am currently short (at 28 1/4). I'm still on a learning curve, and wouldn't have shorted if I had gotten out when I planned at 38 or 36, but didn't enforce my own target price. Realized (belatedly) that the momentum had really shifted. Don't think that's a moral virtue or vice, just some clear-eyed objectivity. So the ups and the downs -- and now the ups? -- in the stock really fascinate me.

Just now I've lost a bit of my sensitivity about the short-term direction of this stock. Insiders are selling, yes, but in a down market today DBCC finished up 16.28%, and even MKTW finished on an uptick, well off of its lows. This in a day when most of the other well-established Internet stocks got docked. So I'm perplexed about where we go from here.

Now is NOT the time for the two of you to go silent! I really appreciate your various perspectives. Besides, SGHLaw, you said you'd be bored....

My guess is that DBCC might have a deal with AOL since AOL has already some sort of connection with CBS MarketWatch.
