Many folks are confused about the stock market at the moment. It all depends on your point of view. If you come to the realization that the Overall market has been in a down trend since the middle of 98, it may help.

Divergences, Divergences, Divergences. Every where I look, I see them.
Sit Back, have a cold drink, and take a look at this chart of the NASDAQ- Here's the biggest D, Price vs. Breadth:
decisionpoint.com

The Price has gone from 1450 to 2400, while the A/D has FALLEN.
Also, compare the price chart to past individual stock blow- off tops.
Looks like a match to me.

But the NASDAQ is not alone-
Take a gawk at this % of NYSE stocks over the 200 dma too:
decisionpoint.com

Comparing peak to peak, like a good technician-
While the price has risen between last July's peak and January's, the % over the 200dma has FALLEN.

The bulls are about to have their resolves tested mightily.

Best Regards,
TW
