Donald,your analysis is right but also try to compare the chart of broader indexes with the DJIA. I think that you may arrive at different conclusions.

The DJIA is to narrow to my taste.

Donald I might say that if I change the chart FROM semi log the DOW actually closed on TOP of the lower trend line. Now LG can tell us which to believe. :-)

If the Dow Jones Industrial average has trouble getting back over 9,400, we will have another correction. The market broke into record territory in the first week of January on strong volume, yet failed to hold the gain. This is not a bullish development. But NASDAQ maybe a different story although it due to a pull back.
